Proposal submission for ICID 2026 Congress is now open

Please read the guidelines below before you submit your proposal.
We will shortly start planning the Scientific Programme for the International Congress on Infectious Diseases 2026 (ICID 2026) that will take place between 10-13 November, 2026 in Madrid, Spain and we welcome your suggestions.
Our goal is to have a dynamic programme that includes current and important topics of wide interest related to Infectious Diseases especially in LMICs. We strive for representation by gender and geography in choosing speakers.
The proposal selection criteria considers many factors, e.g.: suggested speakers or topics that may have been presented recently, and as you can understand, unfortunately, not all submitted proposals can be entertained.
All submitted suggestions will be reviewed by the ICID 2026 Scientific Programme Committee, who will also make the final decision for the topic and the speakers. Please do not reach out to proposed speakers at this stage as there are likley to be edits to most proposals. All suggestions will be reviewed by the ICID Scientific Programme Committee. All proposal submitters will receive an official notification from us approximately 3 months after the proposal submission deadline.
