Nour Shamas

Dr. Nour Shamas is a pharmacotherapy board certified infectious diseases clinical pharmacist and the chairperson of the antimicrobial stewardship program at the Ministry of National Guard Hospital in Riyadh. She trained in Beirut – Lebanon, New Jersey, and North Dakota, and has been a clinical pharmacist at the national guard hospital Jeddah and then Riyadh for a total of 8 years. She also worked at the Pasteur institute as a clinical trials research assistant on an HIV/Tb multinational clinical trial. She works heavily with multidisciplinary teams on implementing antimicrobial stewardship and infectious disease management interventions, training healthcare professionals in ASP and ID, and conducting research in this field.
